Busy racing driver David Pittard will head back to modern GT racing this weekend after historic racing success at the Silverstone Classic last weekend, aiming to get the Lanan Racing GT team back into the championship lead at the legendary Brands Hatch GP circuit.
After a win in race 1 and contact in race 2 at Spa last time out, David and his co Driver Alex Reed lost their championship lead as a result and as the championship heads into the final 2 rounds, the pairing along with championship rivials HHC Motorsport have gapped the other GT4 contenders in the 2017 championship.
“We’ve survived the tracks which suit the McLarens & Astons (Silverstone & Spa), with their long straights we struggled a bit but still managed to score good points and extend the gap to them, now Brands & Donington should suit the Ginettas so we’ll be going head to head which I can’t wait for!”
A 2 hour race awaits the British GT contenders around one of the most popular circuits in the UK and with big points up for grabs as the championship battle heats up!
The race will be shown live on the British GT Facebook page from 14:00 on Sunday, or Live on Front Runner TV on Sky 468 & Freeview 92.
