Bedfordshire based Lanan Racing, have signed young gun Silver pairing Alex Reed (www.alexreedracing.com), 20 Sussex and David Pittard (www.davidpittard.co.uk), 25 Hertfordshire for the 2017 British GT championship with their new Ginetta G55 GT4 car.
Lanan Racing, headed up by Graham Johnson, have a rich heritage in single seaters having won the F3 Cup & British F4 titles in 2013 & 2014, ventured into the British GT championship for the first time in 2016 and picked up a win at Spa.
The young pairing have a wealth of success between them, with Reed winning 2 rounds, setting 3 lap records and 7 podiums in 2015, and picking up a podium at Rockingham, pole position at Snetterton and a win at Spa in 2016.
Pittard, who has been out of full time racing for the past 2 years, has a wealth of experience and success in the Ginetta GT4 Supercup having piloted his KX Akademy supported car to multiple wins, podiums and vice championship honours in 2014. Prior to that David won the British Endurance Championship aboard a Porsche Carrera Cup car in 2012.
