When attending the annual Autosport Show at the NEC Birmingham, it can be guaranteed that there are simulators to be driven and prizes to be won!
So when Autocar, Radical Simulation and Fanatec teamed up at the show and offered the chance to win £1000 worth of simulation rig, David was up for the challenge. Attending on the first day with guests, David duley set the benchmark time of the show so far by over a second round the Silverstone National Circuit on Asseto Corsa.
With the prize being randomly given to one of the top 10 drivers, David settled for 2nd at the end of day 1, hoping it would be enough to keep him in the top 10 before being randomly drawn.
As David went on Holiday, he was kept informed by friends at the show on his position and over the 4 days finished the competition 9th and was randomly drawn to win the prize!
Gavin from Radical Simulations then kindly dropped the rig round on David’s birthday to make the day!
“I’m over the moon with the prize. It’s something I’ve been looking into for a little while now in regards to upgrading my kit and Fanatec equipment is always at the top of the list, so to have won the gear was awesome! A huge thanks to Gavin, Radical Simulators & AutoCar ”
David will be using the rig to prepare for this British GT campaign in 2017 which kicks off on Easter Weekend at Oulton Park.
